TANILBA HOUSE
Tanilba House at Tanilba Bay on the Tilligerry Peninsula in Port Stephens. Built in 1831 it is the oldest surviving house in the area.

Tahlee Homestead was the original headquarters of the Australian Agricultural Company which today is the oldest Company in Australia still trading under its original name. Built in 1826 it has had an incredibly interesting history.
Lieutenant James Cook identifies Port Stephens
Lieutenant James Cook in a former coal collier named HMS Endeavour, sailed past an inlet on the 11th of May, 1770 and named it Port Stephens.
