Tomaree Museum Association generously supported by AGL,

staged the AGL Port Stephens Art Competition over the 2021 Christmas Holiday period

as a launch event for the Tomaree Museum Project, which aims to

develop a world class publicly owned Port Stephens Centre.

This multi-purpose cultural centre will comprise a Tomaree Regional Museum,

an Art and Cultural Centre, and a Multi-use Space for exhibitions and conferences.

The AGL Port Stephens Art Competition seeks to explore the heritage and
sustainability themes of the Tomaree Museum Project and the

artwork will help define the Port Stephens identity.

This AGL Port Stephens Art Competition and Exhibition represents a

wonderful collaborationbetween the Tomaree Museum Association,
