Donations and Collections Policy
Building a community Museum from scratch is no small effort, and we rely on the community we’re a part of for support in reaching our goal. We fundraise and apply for grants on all levels, but the help of our community is our bedrock.
Donations of historical items, media and money are greatly appreciated, and on this page, we detail our Collection and Donations policies.
Tell us your story about Port Stephens
We invite the community to contribute stories of about 200 words on any topic connected to the Port Stephens region including people, places, buildings, or events.
These stories can be funny, sad, quirky, informative, humble or ostentatious – But they have to be true.
The website MidCoast-Stories gives wonderful examples of stories collected about the mid-north coast. We encourage you to do the same for Port Stephens and help preserve the region’s history and character for future generations.
