About this object"Lord Byron" moored on North Harbour, Broughton Island was owned by Nick Casticas. Nick was a member of the Greek fishing community on the island. In one productive week it was reported that 100 dozen live lobsters were poured into the hold of the "Lord Byron"destined for the Sydney market. (Clarke, J., Broughton Islanders).
Nick's boat was later used during the Second World War to escort the timber and supply boats into the harbour and was eventually sold to the Gosford Fishing Club.
