About this object"Porpoise" - fishing boat owned by Dimitrios "Jimmy" Karageorgis moored at Esmeralda Cove, Broughton Island. "Porpoise" was used to ferry supplies and lobster catches back to the mainland. It was 25 foot boat powered by a single cylinder Frisco Standard engine barely capable of pushing the boat along. The lack of power made it necessary for Jim to enter Port Stephens on a run in tide.
