About this object"Anne" - a double ender purchased by Billy Bryant as a yacht in Lake Macquarie. It was converted into a launch by removing the mast and shovelling out the ballast of blu metal and stone. "Anne" had a sluggish Acme motor and she struggled, particularly when towing a couple of loaded oyster punts . Billy, aided b his sons removed the tired old Acme and replaced it with a T Model Ford motor.
