About this object"Pumkin" was purchased by Sos De Koeyer in 1960 from a school teacher at Bobs Farm. The boat had been badly neglected sinking into the mud in Tilligerry Creek. With the help of oyster farmer John Browne the boat was lifted from the mud and restored to working order.
"Pumkin"was originally built in England of New Zealand kauri and designed as a tender for a sea going ship. It was driven by a 10-12 Simplex with forward and reverse gear box.
