Nelson Bay Heritage Walk

The 3.3-kilometre Nelson Bay Heritage Trail begins at the western end of Dutchmans Beach and ends at Nelson Head, site of the Inner Lighthouse. The Heritage Trail locates many of the stories that helped shape the history of the Nelson Bay area of Port Stephens.

 

The Nelson Bay Heritage Trail supplements a nearby Mariners Walk Heritage Trail that stretches from nearby Salamander Bay to Soldiers Point and commemorates the long history of the Port Stephens citizens and others, going to sea in ships.
